Every client and project hold a distinctive essence, and we cannot be held responsible for any shifts in worldwide circumstances that might impact the outcome of our endeavors.

As an LLC, k.smith | x abides by the indemnification principle. Our services are bound by relevant laws, with the minimum age for engaging with our firm is based on the ruling state of business.

Our liability is restricted to the maximum extent permitted by law, and we reserve the right to refuse work to any party at our discretion. By accessing our website or utilizing our services, you indicate your agreement to these terms and conditions.

Any and all services booked, scheduled, paid for, and or other through www.ksmithx.com and the k.smith x LLC platform via Calendly.com adhere to the strict guidance and understanding that these sessions are advisory sessions where designer is sharing their professional industry experience and advice. Information, intellectual property, and any materials shared through advisory sessions are intended for the sole use of the client for the project at hand and are not to be used for any financial gain or promotion of anything other than the current client project. While client may implement any information shared to a manner and degree in which they see fit, client may not share intellectual property with another third-party designer or like for implimentation without express written permission from designer.

No employee of k.smith x llc shall be held liable for the outcome of any limited-service interaction where no full contractual agreement defining a scope of work has been entered into. All advisory services are paid for at the time of scheduling and are non-transferable, non-refundable. By purchasing services, client agrees to these terms as well as the following: client is permitted one (1) reschedule of service in the tenure of the client/ designer relationship under advisory services, services are good for one (1) year from the purchase date, client is responsible for scheduling advisory sessions and designer is not held liable for the progress or pace of any project. Designer is not held liable for the outcome of recommendations of any application, material, project, or process as designer is not a contracted employee, 1099, and/ or other of any trade members, contractors, or subcontractors providing services. Designer will not be held liable for any defect or default of any materials recommended or subsequently faulty instillation of any such recommendations.

We encourage clients to research all maters reviewed in advisory sessions and use common sense and discretion. We encourage clients to research all trade workers and request references, licensing, and insurance.

Should your builder, contractor, trade or material supplier opt to utilize any documentation or final images stemming from our advisory sessions, we kindly ask that advisory credit be listed as k.smith x or @ksmithxdesign.  No contractor, builder, or alternate designer may claim or imply ownership of interior finishing or fixtures IP (intellectual property) or utilize any documentation or final images as marketing materials without the express written permission of ksmithx llc.

At k.smith | x, ensuring the protection of your personal information is of utmost importance to us. Any data obtained is used for internal purposes only and will not be sold or shared.
